A great adventure and story by our Winners of the contest

To win a vacation in the Turks and Caicos?!? Yes, the dream can become a reality. Diane and Ryan are the winners of the contest launched a few months ago by Turks and Caicos Reservations, in collaboration with luxury The Tuscany resort, The Venetian on Grace bay, Attimi Photography and Island Vibes.

The couple had a grand time on island, enjoying every minute of it. Cherries on their cake, a collection of pictures to never forget this as well as the blog written by Diane and Ryan. We are so happy at the Tuscany to make their stay fabulous. Enjoy~

Hi, we are Diana and Ryan Nelson. We have been happily married for almost 3 years now. We are from Bristow, Virginia and have two furchildren, one of them is a Potcake from the Turks and Caicos we brought home on our first trip to Provo. We won our 2nd trip to Turks and Caicos. When we first found out we had won was through a message Val of TCR sent me on Facebook. I was so excited to see this message and recognized Val’s name being associated with the contest that we had been entering in everyday in hopes of winning the contest. When he finally emailed me back saying we had won I screamed out loud immediately and waited to tell my husband who was on his way home from work. As soon as I heard his car pull up I ran downstairs and out in the driveway and screamed “We Won!!!!, We won the trip to Turks and Caicos!” He was in shock and just stood there speechless pretty much and then asked if I was serious? I said “Yes I’m serious!” We both hugged and talked about how we can’t believe it and that we had won! We both were still in such shock but wanted to share our amazing news so we called our parents immediately to tell them the wonderful news. We immediately started researching flights and booked them the next day. That began the countdown to Turks & Caicos!

The time seemed to fly by until when we left. Usually when you plan trips like this, it feels like it takes forever for them to get here because they are planned so far in advance, but we only had a few weeks to make it through until we left which made it even more exciting.

The time had finally arrived and we were on our way to Provo! We were so excited to be going back! If you have never been, it truly is heaven on earth. It is the most beautiful island I have ever been to. Once we arrived Val came to meet us at the airport and we were on our way to the Tuscany on Grace Bay. This was the most beautiful resort we have ever seen, everything was gorgeous and clean and felt like a tropical paradise. The room was immaculate and with it being oceanfront is the best part! I loved looking out every window and seeing the ocean and the different colors of turquoise and waking up to the sound of the waves. We also were very fortunate to be able to have a couples massage by Patricia out on our private patio and overlooking the ocean was just incredibly relaxing.

We also went on a snorkeling trip with Island Vibes which was so much fun! It was our favorite thing we did on the island. We have been on other snorkeling cruises before but this was by far the best one and most fun. I think jumping off the diving board on top of the boat and the conch salad were our favorite parts.

Our last day there was bittersweet, because it was our last day in paradise and we were excited for our photo shoot! We had our awesome photo shoot with Attimi Photography, Ileana was amazing. She was so nice and truly made us feel comfortable and really knew exactly what she was doing. We can’t wait to see the pictures because I’m sure they are all just beautiful!

It truly was a dream vacation and we couldn’t have asked for anything more, except more time! I wish it never had to end. Thank you so much to everyone who helped make this dream vacation a reality. Ryan and I are so grateful to you all and can’t wait to return to paradise.
